Alliance Trust Online is Alliance Trust Savings’ online transactions, statement and valuation service. Select Pension customers can log in or register for Alliance Trust Online at www.alliancetrust.co.uk/ats.htm
The service
Alliance Trust Online allows you to buy and sell investments, real time at any time the market is open. Using, one screen, you select the price at which you wish to deal.
Features of the service include:
- Trade any time the market is open (real time).
- Place an order, when the market is closed, for trading the next day the market is open.
- Place a 'limit order' where you can buy a security at a price no higher than you specify or sell at a price no lower than you specify (within an expiry period of 30 days).
- Add to your online dealing account any time using your debit card.
- Switch between securities.
- Obtain up to date and historical Plan valuations, and valuations of each security held within the Plan.
- Set up and amend Direct Debits.
- Amend Personal Details.
There is also a range of free research tools allowing you to research the market before you invest. You can also arrange to have price alerts sent to you directly by email and set up 'watch lists' of securities you wish to monitor.
To access Alliance Trust Online you will need your ID and PIN which Alliance Trust will send you when you open a Plan. Existing Alliance Trust customers who do not already have an ID and PIN can request one by calling the numbers below.
