Fund Manager
The UK & Europe mid and small-cap team reports to Douglas Brodie, who in turn reports to the overall head of UK equities, Gerard Callahan. All team members have sector responsibilities, which are typically rotated every two to three years. Companies held are met at least every 18 months.
Douglas Brodie
Douglas graduated BSc in Molecular Biology & Biochemistry from Durham University in 1997 and with a DPhil in Molecular Immunology from the University of Oxford in 2001. He joined Baillie Gifford in 2001 and is Head of the Global Discovery Team. Douglas is a CFA charterholder.
