Baillie Gifford Global Income Fund

Key Facts

Aim To obtain a yield higher than that generally available from investment in global equities whilst, over the longer term, achieving growth in both capital and income.  The Fund will invest principally in equities worldwide, but may also invest in convertibles and fixed and floating rate debt instruments from time to time.

Up to (but no more than) 10% in value of the Fund may be invested in each of the following: collective investment schemes and deposits.

Fund Manager

Dominic Neary
Fund Manager - Dominic Neary

Dominic graduated BA in Mathematics in 1990 and an MSc in Statistics in 1991 both from Oxford University. He also completed a PhD in Statistics at Reading University in 1995. He subsequently spent three years as a post-doctoral research fellow in quantitative genetics before moving to fund management, initially with Stewart Ivory and latterly with Insight Investment where he was responsible for the development, launch and management of the Absolute Insight International Equity Market Neutral funds. Dominic joined Baillie Gifford in early 2009 as an Investment Manager in the Diversified Growth Team.
