James graduated MA in Economics from Edinburgh University in 1995. Prior to joining Baillie Gifford, he spent seven years at Cazenove where his responsibilities included managing UK equity portfolios. James joined Baillie Gifford in 2002 and is a Director in the Institutional Clients Department. His main area of responsibility is the Global Alpha strategy and he is a member of the Global Alpha Portfolio Review Group.

Fiona graduated MA in International Business with Languages in 2000 and MSc in International Banking and Financial Studies in 2002 from Heriot Watt University. Prior to joining Baillie Gifford, Fiona was a Sales Trader with ABN Amro. Fiona joined Baillie Gifford in 2008 as a Manager in our Institutional Clients Department.
