Entry Route
You will join Baillie Gifford as a valued member of our investment teams, based in our head office in Edinburgh. We believe you should make an effective contribution from day one. The initial focus is on building your investment knowledge and therefore you will be involved in the following:
- analysing company information
- reviewing stockbroker research
- contributing to departmental investment strategy
- meeting company executives
- travelling on UK and overseas business trips
- reporting on economic developments
- presenting internally to colleagues and externally to clients.
You will also spend a short secondment in our Institutional Clients Department within the first three years. This gives you exposure to clients, attending occasional client meetings and new business presentations.
