The Worldwide Diversified Return Euro Fund aims to provide capital growth over the long term at a lower risk than that of equity markets by investing in a multi-asset portfolio, including, but not limited to, equities and bonds, Eligible Collective Investment Schemes, other transferable securities, money market instruments, cash and cash equivalents and financial derivative instruments.
Meet the ManagersPatrick Edwardson
Patrick graduated BSc in Banking and International Finance from Cass Business School in 1993. He joined Baillie Gifford the same year and after his initial training he joined the Fixed Income Team where he spent five years as an Investment Manager. In 2000, Patrick moved to the UK Equity Team and took on the management of UK equity assets for balanced clients and various UK income portfolios. In 2007 he began initial development of our Diversified Growth product and is Head of the Multi Asset Team. Patrick became a Partner in 2005.James Squires
James graduated BA in Mathematics and Philosophy from Oxford University in 2005. He joined Baillie Gifford in 2006, initially working in our North American Equity and Fixed Income teams. He is an Investment Manager in the Multi Asset Team. James is a member of the Investment Risk Committee and has been a CFA charterholder since 2010. He became a partner in 2018.David McIntyre
David graduated BA in History and Politics from Oxford University in 2004. He previously worked for KPMG and in 2007 qualified as a Chartered Accountant. David joined Baillie Gifford in 2008, initially working in our Fixed Income and European Equity teams. He is an Investment Manager in the Multi Asset Team and is a CFA charterholder.Felix Amoako
Felix graduated Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from University of Cape Coast, Ghana in 2008 and MSc in Investment Analysis from Stirling University in 2010. Felix joined Baillie Gifford in 2011 and is an Investment Manager in the Multi Asset Team. He is a CFA charterholder.Scott Lothian
Scott graduated BSc in Actuarial Mathematics and Statistics from Heriot-Watt University in 1999; he is also a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries. Prior to joining Baillie Gifford in 2015 he worked for Schroders in London, BEA Union in Hong Kong and Towers Watson. Scott is an Investment Manager in the Multi Asset Team.
