Steven joined Baillie Gifford in 2004 and is head of the Income Research Team. He has been involved in running the Fixed Income portion of the strategy since 2012. He previously worked at Scottish Widows and spent seven years doing research for the Bank of England's Monetary Policy Committee and managing the UK's foreign exchange reserves. Steven graduated BAcc (Hons) in Economics and Accountancy from the University of Glasgow in 1992 and MSc in Economics from the University of Warwick in 1993.

Richie is an investment specialist in the Clients Department. Prior to joining Baillie Gifford, Richie was a professional rugby player, representing Scotland at the 2011 and 2015 Rugby World Cups. Richie started his career in investment management in 2018, working as an ESG specialist for Abrdn. Richie graduated BA (Hons) in Business and Economics from the Open University.

Megan is a client manager in the UK Intermediaries Team. She joined Baillie Gifford in 2016. Prior to joining Baillie Gifford, Megan worked at Barclays, specialising in private client services. She graduated BSc (Hons) in Geography from the University of Glasgow in 2014.

Cherry has over 20 years’ experience working for a range of national, consumer and trade titles including The Times, Financial Times, The Telegraph, The Independent, Interactive Investor, Forbes and Investors Chronicle. She has co-authored a book on investing in emerging markets and is a six-time winner of the Investment Management Association’s Freelance Journalist of the Year award and eight-time winner of the AIC Freelance Journalist of The Year award. She began her career as a tax accountant for PricewaterhouseCoopers, before moving to investment bank J.P. Morgan.
