Tech at Baillie Gifford
Our Engineering teams across the Cloud, Infrastructure and Security build, maintain and innovate on the technology platforms and tooling that underpin everything we do. Sitting within our Shared Services department, these teams are at the technological heart of the business. Colleagues collaborate across teams and technical specialisms. We learn from each other, creating a stimulating, inspiring and enjoyable working environment.

Training and development
On our 10-week paid internship, you’ll be immersed in our Technology environment from the word go, doing real work and taking real responsibility as you get your hands on our technologies. You can look forward to being part of a refreshingly open, cooperative and supportive team culture.

Knowledge
Following your induction, you will be immersed in a team within our Cloud, Infrastructure and Security areas. These teams are tasked with ensuring a high-performance, reliable IT infrastructure that supports staff, applications, and data while also advancing our cybersecurity measures to be proactive and tailored to the firm’s needs. You will be doing real work and taking responsibility using market and leading technologies. We strive to understand how new, and exciting technologies can be applied to solve today’s business challenges. We work with major vendors such as Microsoft, Google, AWS, Dell, Palo Alto, and ServiceNow to do that.
