Emerging markets: doing more with less

Leo joined Baillie Gifford in 2021. He hosts the firm’s Short Briefings on Long Term Thinking podcast and is also one of our editors. Previously, he was the BBC’s technology desk editor, leading the online team and working on a series of Panorama documentaries. Additionally, he has worked on the broadcaster’s World Business Report and Newsnight Scotland programmes.

Alice is an investment manager in the Emerging Markets Equity Team. She joined Baillie Gifford in 2018, starting out as an analyst in the Emerging Markets Equity Team. She has previously worked in the Long Term Global Growth, Global Alpha and Credit teams. Alice graduated BSc in Political Economy from King’s College London in 2018.
