Cherry has over 20 years’ experience working for a range of national, consumer and trade titles including The Times, Financial Times, The Telegraph, The Independent, Interactive Investor, Forbes and Investors Chronicle. She has co-authored a book on investing in emerging markets and is a six-time winner of the Investment Management Association’s Freelance Journalist of the Year award and eight-time winner of the AIC Freelance Journalist of The Year award. She began her career as a tax accountant for PricewaterhouseCoopers, before moving to investment bank J.P. Morgan.

Megan is a client manager in the UK Intermediaries Team. She joined Baillie Gifford in 2016. Prior to joining Baillie Gifford, Megan worked at Barclays, specialising in private client services. She graduated BSc (Hons) in Geography from the University of Glasgow in 2014.

Katherine is an investment manager on the Sustainable Growth Team. Before joining Baillie Gifford in September 2022, she had spent her investment career on the Global and International Equity Team at Schroders. Katherine joined the Schroders graduate scheme in 2008 and held various sector and fund responsibilities while developing a growing interest and expertise in sustainable investing. Katherine was instrumental in the development and management of Schroders’ Global Sustainable Growth Fund. She graduated with an MA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford in 2008 and is a CFA Charterholder.

Stephen is head of the European Equity Team. He joined Baillie Gifford in 2005, and became a partner of the firm in 2024. Stephen has been involved in running the European portion of the Global Core Strategy and Managed Strategy since 2019, as well as becoming a member of the International All Cap Portfolio Construction Group in 2022. Prior to joining the team he spent time in the US, UK Smaller Companies and Japanese equities teams. Stephen graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Financial Mathematics in 2005.
