Cherry has over 20 years’ experience working for a range of national, consumer and trade titles including The Times, Financial Times, The Telegraph, The Independent, Interactive Investor, Forbes and Investors Chronicle. She has co-authored a book on investing in emerging markets and is a six-time winner of the Investment Management Association’s Freelance Journalist of the Year award and eight-time winner of the AIC Freelance Journalist of The Year award. She began her career as a tax accountant for PricewaterhouseCoopers, before moving to investment bank J.P. Morgan.

Megan is a client manager in the UK Intermediaries Team. She joined Baillie Gifford in 2016. Prior to joining Baillie Gifford, Megan worked at Barclays, specialising in private client services. She graduated BSc (Hons) in Geography from the University of Glasgow in 2014.

Roddy is an investment manager in the Emerging Markets Equity Team. He joined Baillie Gifford in 2006 and became a partner of the firm in 2023. He has managed the Baillie Gifford Pacific Fund since 2010 and the Pacific Horizon Investment Trust since 2021 (having been deputy since 2013). Prior to joining the Emerging Markets Equity Team in 2008, he also spent time in the UK and European equity teams. Roddy graduated BSc (Hons) in medical biology from the University of Edinburgh in 2006.
