Upfront: episode eight

Megan is a client manager in the UK Intermediaries Team. She joined Baillie Gifford in 2016. Prior to joining Baillie Gifford, Megan worked at Barclays, specialising in private client services. She graduated BSc (Hons) in Geography from the University of Glasgow in 2014.

Iain is the head of our UK Equity Team and co-manager of the UK Core Strategy. He is also the joint manager on our flagship Managed Strategy, which he has been involved in since 2000. Iain joined Baillie Gifford in 1994 and became a partner of the firm in 2005. He has previously spent time on the US Equities Team. Iain graduated MA in Accountancy from the University of Aberdeen and subsequently qualified as a Chartered Accountant.

Lesley is Head of Credit and co-manager of the Strategic Bond Strategy. She contributes to the Portfolio Construction Group (PCG) for the Monthly Income Strategy, is a member of the Multi Asset and Income Leadership Group and oversees our investment solutions capability. Lesley joined Baillie Gifford in 2016 and became a partner of the firm in 2023. Prior to this, she spent 15 years at Scottish Widows Investment Partnership. Lesley graduated BSc (Hons) in Maths, Statistics & Economics from Strathclyde University in 2000 and is a CFA Charterholder.
