Baillie Gifford has managed institutional pension fund assets for decades and currently counts 14 of the world’s largest 20 pension funds as clients. In the UK, they include private and public sector schemes, as well as assets held by fiduciary managers and platforms.

Long-term focus

Our investment philosophy centres on bottom-up research, considering each company’s fundamentals, sustainability and long-term prospects. We predominantly manage global and regional growth equity portfolios while also providing income-focused, thematic and multi-asset funds. A growing number of our strategies invest partly or exclusively in private companies. We also have impact portfolios that aim to contribute to a more sustainable and inclusive world, as well as deliver financial returns.
